How to post a gif

I am testing a simple method to post a gif. Sometimes videos are too long to upload. But simple apps exist to covert a section of a video into a small gif that can be labeled and uploaded as a small file.
Here is an example. This was made using app called ImgPlay.
This is an image. Below it should be a gif. – Looks like even when I upload a gif from my phone; only the first frame is getting uploaded. Need to fix this; to be contd. if you have done this before; please leave a comment below.
