My class and I went on a trip to collect foldscope samples 2 days ago. While I was there I noticed that the first pond we visited had less insects than the 2nd pond we visited.


 I made a hypothesis that pond 1 had less insects than pond 2. We collected insects at each pond, at pond 1 I only collected ants but at pond 2 I collected a variety of species.


 Based on that I concluded that “pond 2 had a variety of insects therefore it was a better environment for insects to live in.”
