First time using my Foldscope!
For my first post, I observe an ant that I caught from our garden at home. I was beyond excited to be able to see the tiny everyday insect up close like never before. It was a bit tricky capturing the little guy and getting it to stay on my slide, but the extra effort was totally worth it!
The video above starts at the abdomen, where you can see some movement inside if you look closely. Then, I move to its midsection, limbs, antennae, and mouth pincers!
I look forward to exploring more of our world on the microscale with the Foldscope :))
