I conducted this project as part of Professor Pringle’s EEB321 class at Princeton University. I love the autumn foliage, and it’s exciting when leaves begin to fall. We’re already pretty deep into the autumn in Princeton, New Jersey, but I still thought it would be fun to look at what a fallen leaf looks like. This one was still green, but with brown spots, and it had fallen right outside of Lewis Library.
Here are 2 pictures of the leaves. You can see individual cells in both images, and in the first one, you can see a brown spot on the top left corner of the picture.
