I conducted this project in Professor Pringle’s EEB321 class. I decided to take a look at a three leaf clover using the Foldscope.
After learning about the Foldscope, I thought this idea was great – a cheap, easy way for anyone to engage in science and investigate their curiosities. Soon after making my own Foldscope, I walked outside and found a three leaf clover (no four leaf clovers, sadly.) as my subject. I had a little bit of difficulty taking a photo with my phone camera, but I did the best I could by using another bright light source and exercising a bit of patience.
