I spend some time playing with my Foldscope and saw some incredible things.
When I was introduced to the Foldscope, I had the opportunity to look at some prepared slides. Below is one of them, I looked at the Fern Rhizome and I was able to see the xylem and phloem within the cortex (the image below shows them really clearly)

Large round blue coloured structure = the cortex.

My younger brother helped me with this fun exploration and we managed to find a few mosquitos and small insects. He was just as excited about using the Foldscope as I was and was very involved in setting up the slides with me. What we saw was beyond amazing.

It has segmentations and looked hairy

I also took some fibres from an old carpet and looked at it using the Foldscope.

Small insect
Found within the carpet. The small bug that I found when looking at my carpet sample had hairy legs and was yellowish in color.
I had lots of fun viewing these samples using my Foldscope. I truly was carrying a microscope in my pocket and it has allowed me to show my friends and family, who have not had the opportunity to use a microscope, a glimpse into what we (students, scientist and researchers) see when looking down the lens of a microscope.
