snail gut still image: taken near the Palo Alto Duck Pond Our Stanford Bio60 team went on an awesome trip to some ponds near the bay. Along the way, we came across snails of different shapes and sizes. This image of a snail’s gut was taken with the help of Manu Prakash. We noticed these interesting pigmented, petal-shaped cells.
