<p>
 The images are of the same thin slice of a day old banana peel. The striations are from the striations seen on the inside of banana peel. The brown patches seem like areas of microbial activity. The difference in colouration is likely due to the different angles at which the light was shone on the slide. All three images are of the same slide under the foldscope.
