 This is a picture of dead skin. Using my iPhone light, i was able to photograph the skin with only slight difficulty. I chose the best of several pictures I took at different areas of the sample. I found the dark ridges and lines in the skin very interesting. The skin is effectively translucent which allows one to see small patterns. The curves and dots made it look very unlike dead skin.
