<p>
 I examined a fruit fly given to me by a TA in class. I placed it onto the slide and taped the ends to create a little room before placing a cover slide on top. However, it seems as though the fruit fly was still squished. When viewing the fly, I could see some liquids still moving inside of it, and was able to get some good pictures of parts of the insect.
