Microscopes are so expensive our homeschool group is very luck to have one or two to share. But now we are happy because each student has their own Foldscope and everyone can be looking at something while waiting to have a turn with the “big” microscopes. The class selected parts of their crayfish to examine with the Foldscopes. Biggest lesson of the evening was to make thin sections for our slides. The elementary science teacher is anxiously anticipating when the Foldscopes will go on open market so she can order a set for the elementary science students in our homeschool co-op.
