My students collected, mounted and identified microscopic features of specimens from the school’s garden – all in the field. My students love the Foldscope’s ease of use and the design. The Foldscopes have also been a big hit with my school’s admin. and my colleagues. We’re doing a piece on the school news show about our Foldscope project. Specimens were mounted on glass slides, using the provided cover tape. All photos were taken using a iPad, mounted to a Foldscope with standard mag lens and LED light component.
