<p>
 This is an image of the lowermost part of a flower where the petals converge. I attached my foldscope to my phone then stuck the end of the flower into the hole for the lens until the object came into focus. I oriented the foldscope towards a source of light since the LED that comes with the foldscope kit was too glaring for this image. Trichomes appear to be dotting the surface of the flower, which my professor helped me identify.
