This sample of skin was a small hangnail on the side of one of my fingers. I took it off with tweezers and placed it on the slide where I dripped water over it so it would be more easy to see. The light from the foldscope kit was too dim, so I had to use my iPhone light in order to get a good view of the sample. Within the photograph, you can see the lining of the skin (the darker spots) but was confused as to why the inside of the skin and the outside look the same. I concluded that it’s probably due to the water that I placed on the samples and probably the bubbles within the water. However, I think it’s super cool to be able to see the details within the sides of the skin!
