We are grateful to students for their time and inputs to the 2 ^nd foldscope training workshop to make it happen even in the scorching heat of June that too in the vacations. It was held at Department of Botany, GGDSD College Chandigarh.  Though group was highly diverse but it was an ice breaking session for undergrad and post grad students who got a chance to interact. The first day ended with a happy note. The joy on their faces after assembling, viewing samples, clicking photos on their mobile phones attached to Foldscope was overwhelming. The unusual deviation of not switching off their mobile phone while in classroom was another interesting feature for them. Those who have attended first workshop were trained enough to guide or help the new entrants.
