 Thin strands of filamentous algae are seen in the above picture.

 Live diatoms and micro arthropods are seen moving actively around  the algae (may be in search of food).
</p>
<p>
 We are not sure about the name of the algae, whether they are Ulothrix or Oedogonium. Can anyone help out?
