Banner Indira Gandhi Government High School, Katterikuppam inaugurated foldscope in its school. More than 20 teachers and 200 students participated in this event. The history of foldscope and its role on budding researchers were explained. They had fun on assembling the foldscope and learnt the art of origami.
Headmistress of the Institution Mrs. Vijayalatchoumy gave presidential address, Dr.Arun, Microbiologist gave a introductory talk on foldscope. Mr.S.Rajkumar, Principal Investigator demonstrated the assembly of foldscope.
