The Oriental rat flea ( Xenopsylla cheopis ), also known as the tropical rat flea , is a parasite of rodents and acts as a vector for bubonic plague causing agent- Yersinia pestis. The picture clicked through foldscope shows the anterior ,posterior parts of the flea and also the legs of the flea.
