Foldscope orientation workshop was conducted for 9th and 10th class students of Social Welfare Girls Hostel, Raja Gardens, Guntur at Department of Zoology, Government College for Women(A), Guntur. More than 50 students who stays in the hostel participated in the workshop. The students were so excited to see plant cell ( Onion peel) and Animal cell (cheek cell), They expressed curiosity to learn blood grouping and amazed to see their own blood grouping tests. III yr degree students also participated and helped the students to use foldscopes.
A foldscope was given to the hostel students along with slides , cover slips and other necessary material to nurture their curiosity
