The Foldscope team of D.G. Ruparel College organised a workshop for M.Sc. Zoology second year students. On 6th September 2018, a hands-on session was held wherein the participants assembled their own Foldscopes with great interest. On 11th September 2018, the participants were taken to Malad Trail in Sanjay Gandhi National Park. They took their Foldscopes along the trail, prepared slides of fungi, leaf litter, animal hair, etc. and observed them using the Foldscopes on the spot. Foldscope has brought in great enthusiasm and has quenched the inquisitiveness of the curious minds.
