A team from our school,Jnana Vijnana Vidyapeetha,Bangalore comprising of the Principal,Mrs Lakshmi Murthy,PI,Mrs Kavitha Sebastin and Science teachers Mrs Shobha,Mrs Sailasri and Mrs Suma M N visited a Government high school at Nagargere,Gowribidnur taluk on 7th september,2018 to conduct activities using the foldscopes as an educational tool.The following activities were conducted:
1.Introduction of foldscope using PPT presentation by Principal,Mrs Lakshmi Murthy.
2.Assembly of foldscope by Mrs Kavitha Sebastin and Mrs Shobha.
3.Demonstration of temporary slide preparation by grouping students into small groups by 4 teachers.
4.Conduction of Science quiz for class 10 based on the concepts shown using foldscope.
The students were very much excited and enjoyed the program.There were around 200 students and everyone got the chance to use the foldscopes and explore the scientific world.We used 20 foldscopes.

Informal workshop for teachers about the usage of foldscope was conducted at Jnana Vijnana Vidyapeetha,Blore and teachers enjoyed watching slides containing mosquito wings,budding in Hydra,Euglena,onion peel and mosquito mouth parts.
