Inside of an Indian Red Chilli. These fibres along with the seeds contain most of the intense heat one that makes it taste spicy. The outer layer is just a covering and does not too spicy by themselves without the inside fibres and seeds. These fibres when magnified under a foldscope look like the ones shown above.
