DBT Foldscope Scheme – “ Foldscopes for diagnosis of rumen acidosis and parasitic infections in cattle”.
Rumen fluid from an healthy cow was taken, and stained with MFS stain ( Methyl green Formaline Saline). This stain is mainly used to visualize the nucleus apparatus of the protozoa and protozoa was identified as Isotricha ( commonly present in the rumen environment).
