Arrangement of fibres under foldscope
Synthetic fibres and the fibres made by human beings. They are chain of small units joined together. Each unit is a chemical substance .Many such small units combine to form a large single unit called a polymer. Class 8 students of JVVP had an opportunity to explore the chemical microscopic world of synthetic fibres and observe the arrangements of fibres into fabric using different types of synthetic fibres like nylon,polyster,rayon,artificial silk etc.
