Aspergillus fumigatus is a species of fungus and one of the most common opportunistic fungal pathogen causing various forms of Aspergillosis in immunocompromised individuals. The case Aspergillus fumigatus identified in present study was isolated from a pair of pus samples collected from chronic purulent ulcer of a cow with chronic devastating condition. The fungal colony was picked up with tip of a needle, placed onto a glass slide and layered with a drop of Lacto phenol cotton blue stain and observed through Foldscope after applying cover glass. (Sample collected and processed by Dr. Mamta Choudhary, Dr P. Mooventhan and Ms. Yogita )
