Commonly called as Golden Dewdrop,pigeon berry.It is a sprawling shrub or small tree.It can grow to 6m tall and can spread to an equal width.Mature specimens possess axillary thorns ,which are often absent on younger specimens .The leaves are light green ,elliptic to ovate ,opposite and growup to 7.5cm long and 3.5cm broad,with a 1.5cm petiole.In it’s natural state ,it commonly grow in rocky or sandy coastal areas with full sun or moisture distributed sites inland .This is widely grow as an ornamental plant throughout tropical and warm subtropical regions.
