The school consists of grades from 6 th standard to 12 th standard. Tamil is the medium of instructions in this school. We have already conducted workshop in this school. The main concept of programme was to promote science knowledge to the students mainly focused by the Origami based paper microscope. Foldscope is so affordable and versatile, it brings science to our life activities. So we have introduced foldscope among the students to create interest about science. It is really a useful and wonderful research tool for the students.
We have introduced this foldscope programme to 8 th and 9 th grade students of rural areas who studies in the above said school on 08.06.2018. In connection with that the students used the Optical microscope in their practical classes.
