Twinning Workshop held on 13.11.2018 conducted jointly by Holy Cross College, Agartala and Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Workshop programme inaugurated by Ratan Lal Nath (Minister of School Education, Higher Education, Law, Parliamentary Affairs, Welfare of OBC and Minority), Dr. FATHER Emannual Kallarackal, Principal of Holy Cross College, Agartala, Dr. Dipanwita Chaudhuri Sil, Dept. of Botany, Holy Cross College, Agartala, Dr. Subarna Bhattacharyya, School of Environmental Studies, Jadavpur University, Kolkata and Prof. Badal Kumar Datta, Dept. of Botany, Tripura University. Dr. Dipanwita Chaudhuri Sil and Dr. Subarna Bhattacharyya briefing on the use of foldscope as an effective tool. DipaShree(JRF), Holy Cross College, Agartala and Anirban(JRF), Jadavpur University, Kolkata, explaining to College Students and School Teachers on how to assemble foldscope. They were given to observe prepared slides like monocot leaf, dicot root, human blood smear, pollen etc under Foldscope. The Students and Teachers showed keen interest in learning the assembly and applications of Foldscope.
