Topic: Sexual reproduction in plants – Parts of a typical flower
While teaching the above topic, Hibiscus flower was used as a teaching aid and each part of the flower was observed under the foldscope like the cells of sepal,petal cells, stamen,anther releasing pollen grains, pollen grains ,ovule and stigma.It was very easy for the students to understand the concept and also to understand the process of pollination and fertilization which would be taught in the next class.
