what does a dragonfly wing look like up close?
does maple syrup sparkle when magnified?
what’s going on at the root of an eyelash?
what’s in a sneeze?
do you know the answer to these questions?
me neither.
not often does one meet the sort of tool that can change her perspective (quite literally) in an instant. i became with friends with foldscope 29 hours ago. as a result, a cascade of new questions has come rippling into my imagination, uninvited but welcomed. these questions are weird and unordinary and seemingly unrelated to each other. i am thinking about physical matter that i did not even realize i was curious about.
foldscope is a curiosity catalyst. let’s hope i don’t kill the cat.
my name is kate. i study people. i am a professional question-asker and an unprofessional explorer.
