A mesmerising wetland, believed formed during 1897 Assam earthquake, known as Chandubi lake, a birds’paradise, is surrounded by Assam and Meghalaya hills. While sampling water and benthos, Cotton University students joined to make them acquainted with the collection procedure of bottom dwelling fauna to be analysed under Foldscope in accordance with the research objective. Our photography buff students Shaan Kr. Dutta and Raktim Bharadwaj captured the moments, to be cherished always.
