On the 28th November, 2018, we conducted a workshop on “Assembly and Use of Foldscope”: a twinning programme between Dr. Anjali Choudhary, Career College, Bhopal; Dr. Vishal Pande, Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kopargaon, Maharashtra and myself, Mr. Debulman Syiemiong, St. Edmund’s College, Shillong along with my Co-PI, Dr. Sanjiban Goswami from the same college. Together, we planned and conducted the workshop with undergraduate science students of our college from Botany, Biotechnology and Environmental Science honours. The students really enjoyed it and wanted to explore more on their own with their own personal foldscopes. Some faculty members of the college too participated in the workshop and enjoyed in their participation. This workshop also created a forum for discussion among the twinning partners regarding the applications and uses of foldscope in research.
