The pictures below are from a patch of moss found outside Jadwin Hall on Princeton University’s campus. The sample was dry and contained a single twig of moss. The pictures were captured on two separate phones to try and achieve different levels of resolution. You can see some of the individual plant cells in each of the leaves. The foldscope instrument was fun to use and is a tool that would probably become more useful with practice.
