The specimen was collected outside of Jadwin Hall at Princeton University on 12/4/18. It was taken from some sandy dirt that was collected from a spot near a pedestrian walkway. The sample is blurry, but the dirt appears to have a rocky quality, which is in line with observations found by the USDA’s Soil Quality Report for Mercer County (where Princeton is located) published in 1972, which classified the soil in Princeton as part of the Neshaminy soil series. This soil is known for it brown color and rocky quality, so these observations confirm these data taken previously.
