Today, we explored Princeton’s campus to sample various organisms for viewing under the Foldscope. This image is a sample of green moss taken from a large tree outside of Lewis Library. The Foldscope was very easy to use once attached to a phone and was pretty fun to put together. It was great to construct it from start to finish and see how such a simple tool can provide an enriching, educational science activity. The Foldscope is an innovative tool that is both educational and fun!
