 Above is a picture of a dirt sample taken via Foldascope. The sample was collected outside of Lewis Library on the campus of Princeton University in central New Jersey.  The picture was taken using the Foldascope’s iPhone attachment with backlighting provided by another iPhone. The Foldascope was not difficult to assemble or use! This piece of easy-to-use technology has the potential to be a great educational tool for anyone who wants to learn more about the world around them without spending too much money!
