This is an image of a leaf from an unidentified species of plant on Princeton’s campus. I found it near Fine Hall. I think I can see some cells- they would be what look like little grains of sand. They are probably layered on top of each other. I think there is also a vein running across the top of the image in brownish; this side of the leaf had veins and the line wasn’t visible on the other side without veins. I had hoped to see something living on the leaf, but I don’t see anything like that. Taking a picture was a little difficult because the foldscope wouldn’t stick to my phone, but I still think it’s an ok picture.
