Ground Cover Leaf in Princeton, New Jersey

I found this leaf outside of Fine Hall on Princeton University’s campus. It was torn off of a ground cover plant from a patch of grass near to the sidewalk. The pictures above as seen through a foldscope show fine hairs along the edges of the leaf. The second picture also shows a vein in the middle of the leaf. There are also some dark patches on the leaf which could be specks of dirt or areas of discoloring.
