Calcite powder and Di-calcium phosphate are macroscopically white in colour and can not be differentiated without Chemical Test. The cost of calcite is Rs.2/kg while the Cost of Di-calcium phsophate is about Rs.45/kg. Because of this, livestock farmers are often prone for cheating i.e bag may be labelled as Dicalcium Phosphate, but packed with calcite powder or Dicalcium phosphate may adulterated with calcite,
