This is a section of an oxalis leaf, as seen through a newly assembled foldscope! Collected on the Princeton University campus. It was interesting to see how simple getting a microscope put together could be! Usage was difficult, somewhat, in that the visual quality varied a ton depending on minute adjustments of how close the sample was to the lens, but overall super fun! I was able to see chloroplasts and rough cell outlines.
