We had been working on plant and animal cells and I decided to use the foldscopes to let the students compare and contrast different cells. They had used the traditional light microscope before and were able work with the foldscope very easily. They were amazed by how good the cells looked under a microscope that was so small and easy to use compared to what they were working on in previous days. We had a blast!
