Looking at onion cells through the Foldscope 2.0 was a fascinating experience. Observing the neatly arranged rectangular cells in such detail completely changed the way I look at living organisms.
Something as ordinary as an onion suddenly revealed an entire microscopic world filled with such kind of structural perfection.
Seeing the cell walls, patterns, and arrangement of the cells made me realize how every large and complex living organism is built from tiny individual units working together. It sparked a deeper curiosity in me to learn more about how these microscopic structures carry out essential life processes with such efficiency.
This experience made science feel far more real and immersive, because instead of just reading about cells in textbooks, I was able to witness them firsthand and appreciate the hidden complexity present in everyday life.
