Amateur microscopist. Co-founder of the microscopy hobbyist website www.microscopy-uk.org.uk established in 1995 and editor of its monthly e-zine Micscape.
Have a particular interest in single lens microscopy and own two commercial Leeuwenhoek replicas (80x and 100x biconvex lenses). Enjoy using them to repeat studies of subjects reported by Van Leeuwenhoek and comparing with images from a modern microscope.
