 : A culture of yeast cells was growing in the lab. I took a few and observed them under the Foldscope and under 40X lens of the compound light microscope.

Place: Maharashtra Nature Park, Mumbai, India.


 Description: I went on a field visit as a part of a group to
observe various water ecosystems. I collected a water sample from a freshwater
pond. I observed rapid motion of this particular ciliate and procured its
identity!
