Today, I saw something I’ve never seen before.
The fern rhizome I viewed through the miraculous foldscope seemed to be entirely unrelated to the tiny circular object visible to the naked eye.
I initially could not see anything through the foldscope, and what I could see was very blurry.

However, after some guidance, I was able to see slightly more clearly.

I started with the 50x,

moved on to the 140x,

and lastly moved on to the 340x

Below is a picture taken of the edge of the cell at 340X that I thought looked really interesting

It is unfathomable that a seemingly tiny sample could hold such different colours and areas. I was quite surprised by the definite, beautiful composition, and I enjoyed it.
