Hello all,
Today was my first day using the foldscope 2.0 and it was an amazing experience. From opening the box to the clear view of the plant, the foldscope allowed me to see a whole different world (quite literally).

Using the foldscope was very simple, but it did take me some time to get used to it. In my opinion, the most fascinating fact about the Foldscope is the fact that it is made of paper.
My first observation was on the Fern Rhizone Sample. It was interesting to see the Rhizone through 50x, 140x, and 340x and notice the differences. The amount of detail really stood out.

The pink and light blue colors of the Rhizone were super cool. They could have been better, but I will try to improve next time. I'm very excited to continue using the Foldscope.
