340x provided me with some nice zoomed in versions of the fern rhizome.
340x – Now we need to split the fern rhizome into 3 parts! – The inside, middle and outside. Inside – We can see that the cells have something tiny inside them, the nucleus. They are compactly packed. Middle – Medium sized light blue cells are visible. Now the centre seems purple, compared to red as seen in the 50x. Outside – There are now ginormous red cells with some purple lines in them. I think they may be DNA in nucleus.
