Today was the first class in the Exploring the Microcosm course. I have to say that it was interesting and we analyzed a fern rhizome. Here are my observations.
50x - We can see different colour cells in this. From outside to inside of the rhizome - The outer boundary is red cells which look like circular blobs. Next, there is a blue cell boundary with reddish centres. Followed by that is a pink cell boundary and then another blue boundary. The centre is a collection of small maroon cells.
