I was sitting in my back yard on the deck yesterday afternoon. We'd had substantial rain the day before and our our deck is typically strewn with lots of debris after a stormy evening. As I looked closely at what was on the deck, I noticed a very small dragonfly (or something similar) lying near my foot. I got closer and closer and could see it was dead. I immediately took note of the beauty of the wings, and instead of being sad, I immediately thought-"what would that look like in the foldscope?" haha! My foldscopes were at work, so I had to wait until today to explore the wing patterns. I could have spent a couple of hours taking different pictures. I'm overwhelmed with the beauty of every picture and the details that are revealed. God's creations are indescribable! I did notice that the brightest light from outdoors reveals much more detail than inside light. Can you tell which picture was taken with outdoor light?
