I never thought a small simple glass slide could carry so much weight (not physically but of knowledge). It seemed as if it held an entire library inside it.

This is the fern rhizome at 50x magnification. When I first saw it, I was filled with questions!
What is a peanut doing inside?
What are these circular figure?
How have the colors been separated so beautifully?
….

But before I talk more about these questions, let me show you these;

This is in 140 x. A closer look at it. There are hexagonal shapes that looked like circles in the 50x magnitude. The color pigments now looked even more beautiful.

This one uses the 340x magnification lens. In this the red structure is more clearly visible.

The foldscope has helped me so much to identify the different parts of a cell or even a thing layer of it!
